Program Overview
BUF’s state-approved Elementary Education major prepares you to teach kindergarten through sixth grade in Florida’s public and private schools. You will master child development, pedagogy, differentiated instruction, ESOL, and the full spectrum of elementary content areas. Two progressive internships (one methods block, one full-time teaching) plus a Reading Practicum give you more than 600 hours of classroom experience before graduation. Because the program carries built-in ESOL & Reading endorsements, graduates are classroom-ready and highly marketable.
