Program Overview
The Pastoral Ministry Certificate offers focused preparation for local-church leadership and pastoral service. Students complete foundational Bible and theology courses, plus practical training in expository preaching, pastoral philosophy, and ministry leadership. Credits earned may transfer into BUF degree programs if desired.

• BF 101 Old Testament Survey (3 credits)
• BF 103 New Testament Survey (3 credits)
• EV 201 Personal Evangelism (3 credits)
• SF 101 Spiritual Formation (3 credits)
2. Ministry Core – 12 credits
• BI 212 Biblical Hermeneutics (3 credits)
• PR 220 Preparing Expository Sermons (3 credits)
• PM 210 Introduction to Pastoral Ministry Philosophy (3 credits)
• PR 230 Preaching Practicum or PM 211 Introduction to Pastoral Ministry Practice (3 credits)
